   1978年重庆,我8岁了。看着这个题,我看只有一个一个地算了。8+6=14,5+9=14,这两相等。23-8=15,15+1=16,应该是小于<符号。开口大的一方数字大。下一个,30-12=18,41-11=30,也应该是小于符号。9-6=3,8-4=4,小于符号。2+8=10,21-12=9,应该是大于>符号。17-8=9,8+2=10,小于符号。14-6=8,7+1=8,两个相等,是等号=。34-6=28,25+2=27,应该是小于符号。好了,这道大题里面的各小题我都做出来了。我们做各科作业都要抄题。我的蓝黑墨水钢笔在白色作业本上写道:

   这就是应用题了。我一看这个题,基本上不怎么思考,就觉得把3个数字加起来就行了。我的钢笔在草稿纸上写道[ 18+12+10=40 ]。好了,就在作业本上写了。白色作业本上出现了我一行行蓝色的字迹。

   应用题等式后面要带单位,比如本题中的“个”。今天数学还有一道题。

   There is unit in the application problem like “individual” in Chinese, but in English there isn’t such word. For instance, in Chinese it says, “40 individual apples”, but in English it just says, “40 apples”. Today’s math homework has one more big problem.
