The forming of morality is decided by a process which is difficult to understand. A sort of mechanism of social must lead to a kind of a moral or social code. There is a close relation between the forming of the social and individual moral and the external political system. That is to say, the freedom under the Oriental despotism/ totalitarianism system is the one that is prescribed well. There is a necessary association between the social norms and moral imbalance which were caused by the prescribed freedom. This kind of morally bankrupt society enticed people astray from right behavior. The good man, out of his good treasure, brings forth good things, and the evil man, out of his evil treasure, brings forth evil things. (Mt. 12:35) These words include the truth on the social and personal moral. If there is much harm to the human moral, property, and freedom which have an important effection on the human civilization and progress, the freedom under the oriental despotism system must be a false one.

Discussing of freedom under the autocratic regime is a difficult problem to start. Why the comment? It’s because under the authoritarian political system some abnormal variations, either psychological or spiritual, have taken place in many aspects. Indeed, the moral, ethical issues under the dictatorship are the study scope in a special context. The impact of the external political system on social and human development is significant; and it will inevitably lead to the migration of social, moral, legal and ethical symbolic expressions. Freedom will evolve into a symbol of the Constitution and laws, turning into false freedom unworthy of its name. Compared to our examination of the whole human civilization of thousands of years, we find that human beings are always seeking the way of self-liberation in chains. On the stage of political authoritarian and totalitarian, under any political authoritarian systems, no matter using how mean ways to prevent the thoughts and using how tragic ways to fool the people and carry out a reign of terror, and no matter how many unspeakable evils to desecrate humanity, the human potential and desire for freedom always could not be stopped, and human being are still marching all through the thorns, whose spirit we are also marveling at.
I . Dilemma of Freedom
在这个世界上，一切合法的事物都会摧毁一切得体性事物。我们造就了社会，然后社会又造就了我们。由于个体身上的严重缺陷，诸如卑微、狭隘、局限、贪婪、妒忌、野蛮、暴力、攀比、平庸、愚昧、粗俗等特性，这些特性也无时无刻地影响着周围的人，同时也在影响着社区和社会。对于整体的社会道德和伦理的堕落，我们每个人都难逃其咎。任何的他者的堕落都与自己有相关的责任。海明威（Ernest Hemingway l899～1961）在其作品《丧钟为谁而鸣》（For Whom the Bell Tolls）的扉页上曾经引用过英国十七世纪诗人约翰·堂恩（JOHN DONNE）的诗歌片断：“谁都不是一座岛屿，自成一体；……任何人的死亡都使我受到损失，因为我包括在人类之中。所以别去打听丧钟为谁而鸣，它为你而敲响。”
In this world, all the lawful things will destroy all the appropriate things. We created society, and society created us in return. Due to the individual severe flaws, such as lowliness, narrowness, limitation, greed, jealousy, truculence, violence, competition, mediocrity, ignorance, vulgarity and other features, they are always affecting the people around, as well as the community and society. We are to blame for the whole degeneration of social morality and ethics. Any other’s degeneration has something to do with ourselves. Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) ever quoted a poetry fragment of JOHN DONNE, a poet of England in the seventeenth century on the title page of his work For Whom the Bell Tolls. It’s ”No man is an island, entire of itself;……; any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore, never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee”.
Since we exist in this world and ”no man is an island, entire of itself", then the inevitable ethical and moral identity in the society we are present in is confirmed as the membership of a race, nation, society and family. And also there need to be a deep understanding of the moral responsibilities of the corresponding ethical identity to give the individual a value of life, so that each individual can clearly and truly live in society and live in the racial, national, historical, and ethical concerns, and that individual live like a reed can thus obtain a kind of value orientation and benefit the human civilization.
The sinful nature of human individuals is universal. Therefore each individual has his own responsibilities for himself, and meanwhile it's necessary to be responsible for corruption, mediocrity, selfishness, darkness and division full of the society. We always created the external according to our internal psychology and many limitations of our own, while the external in turn control and limit the internal. As for the government, based on its organizational form, liberal or authoritarian, the performances of internal and external differentiate a lot.
