感恩節談美國的精神

   Hugo: 感恩節談美國的精神
   
   美國精神，就是耶穌基督的精神，這種精神可以在《聖經》中找到；我認為《聖經》中有五個重要的章節 ，可以清楚地詮釋這種偉大而高貴的精神，那就是“23rd Psalm”、“The Lord's prayer(Matthew 6:9-13)”、“Matthew 5:43-45”、“John3:16”、“Ten Commandments(Exodus20:2-17) ”。
   
   “23rd Psalm”：「The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

   
   He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (or through the darkest valley),I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.」
   
   “The Lord's prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)”：「Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 」
   
   “Matthew 5:43-45”：「You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 」
   
   “John3:16”：「For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. 」
   
   “Ten Commandments”：「1. You shall have no other gods before me；2. You shall not make for yourself an idol；3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God；4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy；5. Honor your father and your mother；6. You shall not murder；7. You shall not commit adultery；8. You shall not steal；9. You shall not lie；10. You shall not covet.」
   
   美國精神，就是耶穌基督的精神；耶穌基督的精神，就是美國人所信仰的“ No King but King Jesus、In God we trust”的精神，就是 “Love、Justice、Absolute moral、Freedom” 的精神，就是“Individualism、Liberalism” 的精神！
   
   “Individualism、Liberalism” 的精神，不就是美國“Love、Justice、Holy spirit、Spiritual soul、Eternal life of God、Spiritual sin、Original sin、Everybody needs to repent、Ten Commandments、The eight beatitudes、Absolute moral、Absolute truth、Absolute beauty、Absolute good、Holistic spirituality、Spirituality in life、Concerning almsgiving、Salt and light、The sound eye、Concerning self-deception、Washing of feet、Take up the cross、God’s chosen servant、Christian Liberty、The liberty of conscience、Individualism、Liberalism、Respect for humanity、Liberal spirit、Christian faith and life、Refuse temptations of the devil、Christian loyalty、Christian ethics、Seeking spirituality、Seeking the meaning of life、Human integrity、Love your neighbor as yourself、Love your enemy as yourself、Christian tolerance and forgiveness、Human dignity、All man are created equal、Individual freedom、Freeperson、Democracy、All man have natural human rights、The rule of law、Only Truth can set us free、Fight a righteous war、Fight for justice、Drive out evil spirits、To Heal the Sickness、Spiritual healing、Mutual aid and win-win situation、Citizen rights、Civil rights and civil law、Caring for public affairs and policy、People have the right to establish a nation、People have the right to autonomy、People have the right to establish a Constitution、All power from the people、Limited power of the government、Citizens are not subordinate to the government、Human rights transcend sovereignty、Parliamentary politics and rules、Constitutional government、Freedom of speech and press、Tripartite Separation of Powers (Separation of executive, legislative, and judicial powers)、Enforced the nationalization of the armed forces、Multiparty politics、Laissez-faire Capitalism、Protecting private property rights、True private property system、Land privatization、Civil rights revolution、Independent State、Constitutional federalism and political federalism、Abstract logical thinking、Reasonable and logical consequences、Building self-esteem and self-confidence、Building creative thinking techniques、Building a positive self-concept and self-identity、Promoting positive thinking、Christian science、Scientific research、Self-creativity、Self-awareness、Self-knowledge、Self-responsibility、Self-defense、Self-directed morals、Self-enforced orientation、Hope、Self-joy、Happiness、Peace”等價值理念的根本基礎嗎？
   
   美國精神，就是耶穌基督的精神，就是絕對道德的精神，就是遵守《十誡》的精神，就是救苦救難的精神，就是未來全人類所應該具有的精神，就是未來人類文明的終極價值，不是嗎？
